Indeed! I was looking at the picture, and MikeP said his was porous I would be curious to see some pics.

Alternatives to pulling rock out of the oceans are always good, especially calcium carbonate sources.

mikep just buy some stuff from thereefgeek its cheap and it it the "reall thing" as it was live rock once.... and you wont have anyproblems with anything.... jmo

Out of curiosity, what did this Travertine cost you per pound? Do you know the source, because quarried rock like that might contain contaminants that you don't want, although if it is calcium carbonate you are probably safe.

Its not worth shipping small quantities to Calgary though, but thanks for the endorsement demon666!
