I do have turbos, but I don't see this one during the day, only at night. Nothing is being bothered ATM. I've looked at a number of snail sites, nothing really jumping out.

actually yeah might be lol. man this is a tricky one. I would still take them out for now or atleast keep an eye on them til' you get a positive ID. if they are turbos, lucky you! if not, unlucky you!

I am wondering how big they are, I am doing my wake up at 4 am and look at the tank thing right now.. lol.. Turns out I have a bunch of little snails as well, They look identical to yours, but some are green shelled some are white, they arent in the corals, but on the glass and rocks. very tough to get a picture as they are literally about this small "O"

You can see in the above photo how small it really is, maybe1-2 mm at best, I have been looking online and since mine are seeming to be nocturnal, I am steering towards Collonista amakusaensis which are harmless algae grazers, its tough to say what yours are exactly as well as there isnt a size reference. From what I am gathering here mine at least seem to be harmless, I would like to find out what size yours are roughly. If I am correct in this ID they are a member of the tubinidae (turbo) Classified as mini or micro turbos.

Very tricky to focus on these guys, but upon flipping them to look at their mouth area, they have the same "calcareous operculum" or what I like to call their front door, turbos have these too, it looks like a helmet kind of and when they retreat inwards this becomes apparent. I would try to get one of yours to see, if they have this "helmet" odds are its a turbo species and you are in fact safe. Any one agree or disagree?

Here is where I ID'd them, I thought perhaps sundials or heliacua at first, but as neither shows signs of a flat shell, and is showing the characteristics from what I am gathering online here, I doubt that is the case. and the fact that mine have the door/helmet kind of ruled it out, if you could find a characteristic on yours showing this, and describe it, then odds are in your favor I believe. Man.. that was some light typing for going onto 5am... lol

i have had these small snails in every tank ihave had. i never thoght they bothered anything. and yes thanks for the research...

the bottom pic i think looks like a mojano nem. are we all looking at the same thing?

and the top pic.. +1 on the turbo snail. if i am looking at the right thing.

edit: the top pic if what i am supposed to be looking at is at the bottom and partialy out of frame, then iimo looks like some kind of cucumber or nudi.

It's definitely some kind of an anemone

Top pick is the snail, bottom pick has the anenome thing, it's in the middle of the pick to the left of the turbo snail.

I don't think it's a mojano nem, I have one and def not the same. I'm still looking to see what I can find. They are no bigger than a dime and haven't changed in size....yet.

Yah I believe it's a turbo snail, sundials have a pyramid shape like a mini strawberry top hat and the checker patterns black and white, they also has a trap door....

I think the second pic is just a zoanthid. I have some that are that orange colour. Unless I'm looking at the wrong thing in the picture.

Here is a pic of mine for comparison.

This looks like a frag of some type of chalice coral but I don't think she is trying to ID that

I font know about that, your original pic looks a lot different, about the same size and coloration, but different color pattern, have you seen your snails as of late?
