i have that same trap... worked for me.. make sure the bait is as far back as you can get it so the crab has to enter all the way. another trick is to tie the food on fishing line and use the top plug to hold the line. keep the bait ( this way krill or something large works best) up off the floor and he will have to enter to get it.
