Talking Vodka saves the day again!

Lol well at least the bacteria in my tank thinks so! Been vodka dosing for the past few weeks and I must say I am impressed. Ammonia, Nitrates, and Nitrites couldn't possibly be lower. Ive been doing about 0.4 mL every day or other day

I get away with no sump on my 29. So 0.4 for 29. I started dosing at 0.1 for a week, then 0.2 for a week, then 0.4 thereafter. I might sneak it to 0.5 daily and leave it there

Vodka contains carbon and many sugars, which bacteria breaks down into a compound that can easily be removed by your skimmer.

Once you get where you want to be your supposed to cut the dose in half for a daily dose, not continue increasing the vodka amount unless testing dictates it's needed..

Really? Okay thanks for the tip. I guess I should do 2.5 a day then. Do you know how often I should change the diffuser in my skimmer?
