that would sorta depend on what your plans are.......Im assuming that your intending to use all the rock from the 55?......are you gonna be adding more rock to what you already have?

Yes I was planning on using all the rock from my 55. I have about 75 pounds in right now and I'm looking at getting anywhere from 25 - 50 more pounds depending on if I need more for my scape.

Default Congrats on the new tank!!

Hey Brett

Glad you got such a nice tank. Looking forward to seeing the progress, especially given how SPECTACULAR your 55 looked!

I've decided to go with a custom 70-75g cube with starfire and eurobracing.

So far, the LED lights are working well.. hoping my sps will color up

Steve

Default Finally

Hey guys.
So i FINALLY got my tank set up and running with all of my livestock. I plan on getting around 50 more pounds of live rock and making the two pillars a little taller and making an arch using acrillic rods. I did my transfer on monday and so far everything is looking good. all my corals are open exept my large toadstool and i didnt loose any fish.
I got rid of a couple fish so currently i have a yellow tang, blue tang, tomini tang, 2 clowns, lawnmower blenny and a yellow tail damsel. Hope to go down to RCC this weekend and pick up some new friends
Anyways heres some new pictures

Been a while since i posted anything.
I picked up 8 threadfin cardinalfish from RCC today and i love them. their a little shy right now but slowly getting used to the new tank. Schooling nicely with the exception of one loner fish.
I also picked up a copperband butterfly to try to help with my current aptasia problem.
I was surprised to see how well my tomini does with new fish compared to when he was in my 55
Ill try to get some pictures in the next day
