I must say I am impressed with the way this salt mixes. It disolves faster than any other brand I've tried and doesn't go cloudy like the Seachem (Aqauvitro Salinity) always did when I used it. It mixes at about the same rate as Reefers Best but as I said disolves quicker. I like it!

You're right, that salt is the best I ever tried.

The bucket will actually make up 180 gallons worth of salt water at 1.025

I haven't tried it yet & I don't have a scale for the mix ratio they recommend, I wonder if it's a similar amount to reef crystals . Which I use just under 1/2 cup per gallon to get 1.026. Has anyone mixed it up by the cup yet? Thanks.

I mixed it the same as Reefers Best which is roughly a heaping cup per 2.5 gallons. Whenever I try a new salt it takes some trial & error the first water change. I would recommend mixing it the same as you normally do with your old salt and then check your salinity and add extra salt or extra water depending on the outcome.

It takes exactly 2 & 2/3 cups to make 5 gallons @ 1.026. Done twice and happy with the paras of the mix. Thanks again Greg.

That is some very usefull info to know, Thank you very much!

Post your feed back when you can.
Hobbiests have been going crazy for this salt all across Canada.
The resonse in Onteribble here has been fantastic and several staores have dropped all the other lines of salt to carry Royal Nature exclusively.

We have a store in Montreal that is selling out of salt almost every week!
