It's a crime this thing hasn't sold. This is a fire sale people. I can't think of a better high end fixture.

Dan, is this the model where it can be converted from a 250W to 400W with the flick of a switch?

Unfortunately no. It is strictly a 3 x 400W unit with 8- H.O t-5's. Great part of this unit too is the ballasts have an accessible fuse iin them so they dont blow important things like the breakers if you have the tank on the same system.

No I've always kept the temp at 82. The only time the tank temp has ever gone above 84 was last year when the outside temps were so high

If I had the money I would buy these lights in a second but....
