I read a post somewhere. I can't find it now.
They just took the rare earth magnets, poured some epoxy in a..... I think it was a pop bottle bottom or a film canister..... whatever I guess that will fit what you need and once the 1/4" bottom layer is poured, place the magnets in and cover completely with more epoxy. I'll try an find the link.

You could just buy some liquid latex from a hobby store and put a few coats on any magnet that works for you.

The problem is finding magnets that are big enough. I have thick glass so any mags strong enough are $$$$$$$. I might as well buy sure-grips and modify them. If anyone finds anything please let me know

Default Hard Drive Magnets

At work when we decommission servers we physically disassemble the hard drives for security. This leaves us with a nice collection of rare earth magnets that will break finger bones if your not careful. The Magnets are larger than the buttons above and would require they be cut to size but I'm willing to offer a couple to someone in the lower mainland if they are sincere in trying to make something with them.

Are they set in flux collectors?
