Default Ocellaris "allergic" to Hammer?

We could perhaps get our DIY man to build one like my awesome new refugium. The only problem is that one built the same would interfere with the hood.

I'll try both the clowns together in the 10, and watch them closely. The male is looking better already, is active and eating well. The female will be next, maybe even today after water changes.

Thanks guys,

Alan

Bob. The hood could be easily modified by the Diy man you speak of ;) :D

Alan, on a side note I just sent you another mail as I assume you didnt get my first one because of your reply you sent.
Tony can back me up that we had this same problem/missunderstanding last week.

Jon, got your note, not to worry ladies. ;)
About a refuge, I don't know that it's necessary. There's a healthy clump of halimeda growing at one side, so in time that will be a factor as well.

The clowns are together tonight in the 10g and look well. The male is completely blemish-free; I expect the same for the bigger pushy dame...

At least now the male can practise his dance moves again. :D

Cheers mates!

Alan

No no, not necessary, but a fun side project is all ... :D

Sounds like things are progressing well. Good luck with the "other half" of the happy couple. ;)

cheers

PS. Yeah, weird, one email of Jon's took no less than 5 days to reach me the other day. Got stuck in some kind of snail-mail like vortex??

Hello Alan,

Can you put the original post (your very first message on this thread) in the Expert forum as well? I don't really want to move this to there as it has some other misc dicussions as well.

You can just copy and paste it. PM me if you don't know what I mean.

Thanks
Titus

Update: both clowns are doing swimmingly in the 10 gallon. They are perky, eating well, and clear of any skin problems.

Side note: 2 small aiptasia on one piece of rock were nuked with a syringe - boiling-hot water shot directly into their holes. They are real gone. :D

Cheers,

Alan
