Default Updating Alan on his possible anemone

I'm not sure what the joke is about, but the anemone is no longer available.

Ummm, no joke intended and certainly no offense either.
I was referring to Tony's statement:
Quote:
If you do get an anemone, do it because you love anemones and want to care for one, and if you have the clownfish/anemone relationship happening in your tank, then treat that as a happy bonus.
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Because I have to admit that the emphasis for me is reversed here. I want the "happy bonus" and would be glad if I came to truly appreciate anemones as a result.

That's all - sorry if I came across wrong, probably my fault. It was the late chat that had me a little woozy.
:D

Alan, no big deal. Somewhere along the line I was under the impression you wanted an anemone and were looking for one. It started to sound like I was trying to convince you to take it, and you sounded not very anxious to have it. ;)

Which is fine. I only wanted a good home for it, and it looks like here is the best place. In fact, I am going to try a pair of domino damsels for something different. :D

Alan;

As you probably know I was the recipient of Tony’s last anemone split. I find it to be a terrific animal. He has been in my tank for 4 weeks now and is doing very well according to Tony and Linda – Yes, you have to give visitation rights. :D

I also have two percs/ocellaris that I am hoping will use this anemone as a host. They nosed around the anemone in the second week and have not been back since. At least not to my knowledge, no big deal, just would be nice.

My six-line spends more time around the anemone as it took over his favorite crevasse. The six-line swims by constantly hoping that the intruder has moved on, but no such luck.

The anemone is getting use to me putting my hand near it to feed him. I find that squeezing the shrimp chunks near him seems to stimulate him and he begins to reach up. He also stretches up towards my hand even when I am just cleaning the glass.

Any way I am not trying to convince you to get one. Just thought I would pass on how enjoy able an interactive creature can be.

The best acquisition is always one well thought out.
