Since I started my tank two months ago I have kept it pretty constant between 78-80. I actually found out last week that I had my heater unplugged for a number of days and the temp stayed constant due to the lights and ambient room temp. Maybe as it cools more through the winter I will have to rely on the heater a little more,.
