Ya I'd take a water sample into a lfs they usually test for free and I'd also test the premixed water your useing. Just trying to see why your cal and stuff is so high. Changing your water will help. Also running some carbon and phos will help

i have a phos pad and filter floss in my sump now.. but its loaded with pods and i dont wanna take it out ;P maybe i can throw it in the sump add new stuff until the pods explode on that one? or the old pads could be what contribute to my phos problem

Just shake the phos pad. The pods will run out. They repopulate pretty quick. Get that water in check and you'll be back in business.

It can be bad to leave foam in longer. I'd put some real carbon or phos in a bag in your return area

If you have a foam pad abs you never clean it that will definitely contribute to prpblems. It NEEDS to be rinsed at least once a month or the detritus build up WILL cause problems. Rinsed mine today in water change water. Bye bye crap build up lol!!!
