Token shot of the kids in the tank

And after a marathon painting session last night, almost ready, just need to finish off some trim, Plan is no background on the tank so when you look in it appears deeper than it is (like it needs to look deeper) Tank is full of water and up to temp etc, just waiting for it to clear some more, hoping to do the switchover this afternoon.

Yes very brite! Looks good with the white trim, and the view thru the tank is just the look I was after, will post more pics after I unwrap the tank.

Definitely! I never even thought about the color of the room vs a tank background. Thats definitely the way to go to avoid having to put a removable background on the tank (which is what I was planning, now the hamster is back on the wheel, plotting ) and so much more interesting than boring white

Now that's a pretty blue!

In the web world I call that #0099FF and I abuse the heck out of it =)

Love the pace of this one. You're doing it fast AND you're doing it well. Lucky kids!

I painted my fish room blue for the same reason. I am very happy with my decision to leave the back portion of the tank clear as I spend most of my time in the fish room! I think you will also be very happy with that decision.

Just about wrapped up for the night, that was a lot of work, still need to plumb the skimmer (missing a %#$& fitting, I know its here somewhere, probably find it sometime tomorrow right after I buy a new one!) Everything looked good till the sand went in, pretty cloudy right now but I am sure it will clear up pretty quick, fish all seem happy, will get some pics up later tomorrow as I have to work.
