I run these
http://www.reefsupplycanada.com/d120...ight-16-light/

They are known as Taotronics, Evergrows, no names etc. you find them listed on Ebay all the time and they are amazing. the cost was perfect and they grow corals like mad. Super happy with them and would highly recommend them.

I have 3 over top a 72x20x20 tank.

+1 I had two of them over a 4 foot tank they worked fine, Grew my Monti's and softies, quite well and the price wasn't bad at all.

Thanks for the replies, I appreciate the advice and opinions. I think I may go with some used fixtures and see how that works out

The LED "floodlight" in the second eBay link you posted strongly resembles the LEDs that caused a fire in an Arizona preschool not long ago, described here:

http://reefbuilders.com/2013/01/30/c...d-causes-fire/

So be very careful with those ones! If you go for eBay LEDs, I would stick with the Evergrow/Taotronics style as they have a good track record on the major aquarium forums.

Good catch. I didn't even hear about that story. Fortunately no one was hurt.

Thanks again for the replies. I have been looking at the Evergrow fixtures mentioned and am thinking 2 of these would work for my tank. Also looking at the ecoray 60d fixtures x3 for my tank. http://www.poseidonwarehouse.com/LIG...oRay60LED.html
I have read that these have a bit of a spotlight effect. Anyone familiar with these?
