yes he did and we found the problem that caused it. I believe he is still running only 2 wires for each bulb now though. I am still running two bulbs in series with no problems for over 2 years now.

two 48" tubes is the max you can do with the WH7 in series. yes it will decrease the on/off cycles a little and if you use all 4 wires like myself probably more. But mine have turned on and off once a day for over two years (well one of them... I broke the other and had to change it ) also remember the workhorse is mostly used for situations where they are cycling on off several times a day and they don't nessasarly understand that a reduced on/off cycle number doesent affect us as much as if it was used for a light in a freezer or such.
