![]() DIY - for me provides lots of extra entertainment value. Research, design, construction and endless tinkering and tuning. Look at the equipment critically and see if you can find a way to improve it.
My little protein skimmer I designed is fricken brilliant if I do say so myself, humble I am not! |

For me it's the design and execution of the design that really makes me happy. Then when I have to start maintaining a tank.... it gets annoying. So I change my mind and buy and sell tanks all the time to fill the void.
