Geez if it was only 2 trips total my wife wouldn't mind tagging along. The family likes to come to 'the wood store' as the kids call it with me but if it's plumbing she refuses to come along anymore!

It's time-consuming and I usually return 2 or 3 times:

- staring blankly at the parts on the shelf
- sifting through mixed up bins
- creating new ways to get from A to B when they are missing that key piece
- consulting your drawing you brought
- hunting down a sales guy to cut some hose if needed
- laying parts out on the floor like a weirdo
- staring blankly (again) at the parts on the shelf

Did you see me at home depot Brent? That is my exact routine. Ive usually changed my mind by the time I get to the car so I have to go back in...

I didnt realize that people were cutting pipes with a saw.



I picked one of these up ages ago, and they work great! Not as slick as a powered version, but it was only $10.

I think it was from Princess Auto, but Totem and I imagine Home Depot, Rona, etc would all have them.
