If anyone knows their Adam Sandler movies, they'll know that Scuba Steve is a fictional scubadiving superhero. Seeing that I am more comfortable a couple hundred feet underwater than I am above it, and that I may or may not be a superhero, it seemed to fit.

By the way, my name is not Steve.... Far, far from it...

I have a huge addiction to poison dart frogs. Reef keeping it like a substitute. When I was 17 I specifically worked my ass off just to keep buying these little guys to the point I had 40 of them and was failing school. In gr.11 I sold them all, and than bought my first car, my nissan 240sx. After that I got into freshwater and did that for 4 years till I got into saltwater.

But here is a Dendrobates Tinctorius "Lorenzo" morph

I call, I-phone correction.....

I've had the same online handle ever since online became popular......email and all my forum names have always been fishytime...... the name started about 15 years ago or so with an old Greek carpenter type guy I worked with......the man was heavily into being a carnivore and the doctors told him his cholesterol was through the roof and he needed to severely cut back on his red meat intake or else..... so, he started bringing cans of tuna and salmon for his lunch time meat fix......12:00 noon would roll around and he would yell *in a sandy, deep, Greek accented voice* "Its-a-feeeshytime!" ......of course my other younger co-worker and I quickly adopted the phrase.....at the time I was REALLY into fishing(like 20 hours every w/e) and I started yelling it every Friday at quitting time...... it just sorta stuck....like a fly in molasses

The green one is me, the blue one is my wife on her 2008 F800ST. This was my first BMW, a 1994 R1100RS, now sold.

This one came next as a companion to the R1100RS, its a 2003 F650GS. Met an eary demise thanks to a deer.

It was replaced with this one, a 2009 F800GS.

This one, a 2008 K1200GT is new to me this year to replace the old RS.
i love the f800's

I found doing water tests so frustrating when I first started to do tests and said "i feel like a mad scientist". That was right around the time when I first became a member and it just popped in to my head. I see there is another member on RC with the same name, so not as original as I thought.

Me too, great bikes. I was tempted to get another F800ST for myself except not with the low suspension setup like my wifes, but the GTs legroom and riding position was more favourable to my long legs and bad shoulder.
