Regardless of skill level there are some species that are not meant for an aqaurium. The panther grouper being a good choice, it is endangered and grows to 2 feet+
Having a list of these fish is a good idea, whether you choose to follow the list is your choice. If you do ignore such a red list you will go to Fish hell and thousands of guppies of swordfish will torment you forevermore.
