Default Fooser's Reef (UPDATED April 25, 2010)

It may be late to start this but, just thought I would start a thread so I can keep track of my corals and one day look back to see how they have grown since I first got them. I guess since I didn't start this a year ago, I will have to slowly add in everything that isn't new.

Those deep water acros are amazing. Are you seeing much for new growth on them as deep water species typically grow quite slowly.

Wow, I didn't expect many people to look at this. Thanks for the compliments everyone.

Stones: I am really liking deep water sps. They have awesome growth forms. As for growth, I find my deepwater acros grow a little bit faster than all of my other SPS (except montis).

Xtreme: You bet, I will let you know Sean. Just like before, I will give you a heads up before hand! I hope those other ones you picked up are doing great!

Delphinus: It is about 100gallon display (60"x18"x19") with dual corner overflows. 30 gallon sump. I actually am not running anything that I would be proud talking about. Haha! I am using an old aqua medic skimmer way underrated for my system that is not really doing the job, but it was free from a friend. Can't complain. I am getting either a vertex250 or Hydor1000 probably in the next week if I can get the funds, to replace my old skimmer though. I am using a Twolittlefishes phosban and a 9 watt (I know it is too small) coralife UV sterilizer which replaced my old 30watt JEBO. No Zeo. No dosing, although I am looking into starting a 2 part calcium dose, but still researching it (don't want to make any huge swings, too much to lose). I have 4 Koralia4's. For lighting I am using 2 x 250 watt HQI with EVC ballasts. Want to look into getting a third one if I can find identical one, as well as thinking of retro-ing T5's on there to even out the light in the front and back of my tank. 10% water change a month. Other than that, there is nothing else. All just natural for the moment.

If anyone has advice for me I would love to hear it. Thanks!
