FWIW, I drive my My Reef Creations MR-2 skimmer with a Mag 24 pump. I tried driving it with a Mak 4 and didn't think it skimmed as well. I run my water level anywhere between 0 and 2" up the lower riser tube and get a nice dry foam. I have a second injector but am not currently using it. I think I need to increase the length of the second riser before I get that one running. When I ran the 2 injectors, the water level was rising up too high in the second riser tube even with the gate valve wide open.
