![]() Hey guys, thanks for the replies.
I think it's a matter of these "bent" pins....I must've bent them when I changed the pin spacer around to match the thickness of my glass. I left the pump off all night, and just tried again....and I *think* I got the pins all inserted correctly. Crossing my fingers! |

![]() i bought 2 about 4-5 weeks ago and one started knocking loudly and the other started jamming and poping apart every 30 seconds, so now i have $800 worth of powerheads in boxes waiting for new wet sides and seio 2600's in my tank again

![]() I just bought one about a week ago,setup was painless,and i'm very happy.It does make a bit of a groaning noise,as i'm running mine in the pulsing mode.

![]() sounds like manufacturer defects. I'd recommend taking it back to whoever sold it to you or deal with the manufacturer if there's no in store warranty.
I screwed up my vortech's impeller because I ran it on the wrong glass thickness. An exchange of the impeller/prop part got it working back to normal. (ran it on 1/4" when it was 3/8" glass or whatever is the next largest thickness)

![]() im shure mine will be covered but i still have no pumps for a while and i think ill be getting something else for my other 2 tanks even though i was happy with the vortechs untill they died on me
