I built one and can post pics if you have a email address ... had hair algae out of control on rocks, glass everywhere in a 220G reeftank... all but gone in a couple spots ... been up and running since March 5th and I clean the screen every 10-14 days

Thanks for the info. Result in your display is exactly what I wanted to know. I’ll post pics when all set up. I’m guessing the pulse effect is simulating tides? Curious the benefit ? Or does the algae just like it ?
