Invert ID Need Help!
Hey everyone,
I just noticed some sort of invert escaping my frag tank lol. It is approx. 2" and I would like to know everything about it. Thanks in advance |

Google chiton I've had a similar one in my tank for years.

Its approx. 2 - 3 inches long. It looks like it can stretch because it moved and it is longer now.
It is not a chiton. |

Definitely a chiton. It's a Cryptolax sp. Harmless and beneficial

Actually it was moving even further away so I pushed it with a turkey baster back in the water. It looks like I slug lol. It sure maneuvers like a slug....

I guess you are right. . . . I thought Chitons have plates that won't allow them to position themselves the way pictured. Weird.... Are they dangerous? |
