Steering wheel form an old ship perhaps??

So I just finished staining my custom stand and after all the trim is on I'm left with a square in the front roughly 4'x4 it's just stained birch ply for the background was thinking if i had a old steering wheel like off the olden days ships would be kinda cool where would you get one??

Anyone have any ideas for a nice centerpiece??

this is the stand i just built its made from birch plywood and birch crown then stained a walnut. took an afternoon to build and about 500 in materials

Sometimes you see reproduction ones in some of the home decor type stores, probably not 4' by 4' though. You could create a ships wheel design out of some plywood or something with a jigsaw. Not the same I know, but...
