![]() Can (and how) I extract some juices from fresh garlic and soak my fish food in it? Or do I have to use the special extracts from the LFS?

![]() The extracts from the LFS are actually cost effective. Kent Garlic Extreme should be $20-22, and it would take you more than $20 in garlic to make it yourself. I'd just buy the extract. Although it is nice to be able to use fresh garlic...in which case you can just buy cloves and use a garlic press that you will find in the kitchen utensil section in your grocery store for about $12-20.

![]() You can use it directly into the tank? Not mix it with the food?

![]() Oh is it only $14? I thought it was $19.99 at J&L.
![]() I've added it directly to my freshwater tanks when my Rasboras had a touch of some fungus or bacteria, and it cleared up quickly, but I've never tried to add it to my reef. I wouldn't. |
