Just looked in the tank with a flashlight....I've got thousands of little critters swimming around that look like newly hatched brine shrimp. Anyone know what these could be, other than coral food?

If you have a pair of any type of shrimp in your tank, that is likely exactly what you have, a big hatch of baby shrimp.
If you are lucky enough to catch it, it happens just after lights out, once or twice a month depending on how many shrimp you have in the tank. Very cool event. I have only seen it once in my tank, but the corals and night feeders surely will be feasting. |
