Sugar/Vodka use
I read a very interesting article on RC and it was a thread all 13 pages of using sugar/vodka to reduce nitrates for short term solutions, has anyone attempted this, any thoughts.

280 display 72x36x26- 90 gal sump. Aqua medic t5000 skimmer, Aqua Medic 3x250 w 10k and 14 k and t5's. Tunze wave box, UV and phosban reactors in sump. Tank is just started as of Feb 01 08.
