Sugar Sand - Argh!

I've come across many a person at the same frustration as you. I've removed sandbeds in several tanks - usually a bit at a time (like 1/4 per week) and replace with new coarser sand. If you replace 1/4 at a time as you go this works very nicely.

Thanks Myka. Did you replace as you go? Or did you replace once most of the old sand was removed?
