ID this Snail or Is this a Snail?

The nick name for the snail is "catseye". I can't remember the actual name. They grow to about 2" - 2 1/2" . When they get bigger they can sure move fast. Well fast for a snail that is I found one in my tank one day and it blew me away at how fast he could move and at the size of him. I know he came on some rock because I sure didn't put him in the tank. He never went on the glass just stayed on the rocks and never caused any damage that I saw.
