![]() That sounds like one, possibly Notospermus tricuspidatus which is a more common snail predator.
Here is an example of N. tricuspidatus in the attachments (black worm - I don't own any of the pictures). There are also other species that seem to frequently turn up such as this brown species that seems to eat crustaceans like hermit crabs and shrimp. Im interested in anything anyone can find! |

![]() I'd love one of those green ones, oh man that thing must be a serious predator!
They tend to be pests in reef tanks as almost all species are predators which eat anything from microfauna (copepods, amphipods etc.) all the way up to crustaceans, snails and even fish. I have a soft spot for the underappreciated oddities so if you find any please send em my way! |
