Another way to do the salt mixing would be to have a mixing container that is big enough for a full bucket. Then you don't have to worry about settling or anything like that. That's how I did it with my breeding setup. Would that make you feel more comfortable with the automation?

I wish I had a fish room next to my tank so I could think of cool things like this too.
