Oh OK. So that's what I thought. Weird that my idea wouldn't work unless there's another variable. They do. And people use them. But the wires don't get wet. They are on the outside of the tank.

Brad, you are killing me. I thought you wanted to be able to remove/clean your pumps without dealing with the wires. This is basically a quick disconnect at the glass. The pump and propeller for the Vortech is wireless as I understood.
