Thanks. I've checked spruce meadow and found no riding. Rafter 6 sounds great but it's in Kananaskis, so it's little difficult for us to go there. However this is good for back up plan. Thanks again.

Speaking of Kananaskis that's what I'd recommend, an hour from Calgary and much more peaceful. Took this pic last time I was fishing there, not a sole in sight. Much less stressful than commuting around the city although the kids may get a little board but I'm pretty sure that's why Calaway park is on the way

That's beutiful lake. Is that one on the way to Kananaskis Lodge?

That's Upper Kananaskis Lake so past the lodge a little. Barrier is probably the one you're thinking of which is nice too but not as quiet.

Can we hike at upper Kananaskis lake? And if we can, is that hard or easy?

Yes there is a nice trail that loops the hole lake, it's 15.7km long though so it's considered intermediate but it won't be a difficult trail, just long. There's a shorter trail at lower lake (which is next to upper) and a bunch more of course throughout Kananaskis.

Thanks. I'll hike there on my way to Calgary. We've done a lots Rockey but I never brinng them after Canmore. That's gonna be nice hike there.
