I have had a Redsea skimmer running nonstop for 8 years or so. It is still going strong but I want to get a backup skimmer in case it fails. I am very happy with it. For anybody that owns one, are the newer gens anygood?

Those are kind of nifty. Does it skim the surface but overflowing into the skimmer?
