![]() I think it helps keep the water clean and clear probably the same way as running carbon in a reef tank.
Adding carbon to shipping bags is especially important because with such a small amount of water, it can foul pretty quickly and therefore harm the coral/fish so you want to keep it as clean as possible. |

I'm not doubting it, just curious to the facts. I live 8 hours from the closest LFS and hobbiests and take bags full of corals monthly with me. If there is a way to improve the shipping process, I want to know about it lol
