Don't mess with it! Patience...
Leave it in the breeder box. Don't try to feed it, med light & if there can be a light flow over the box that would be great. Just to change out and move a bit of the water.... Check your water & do a water change, just cause. If it starts melting (important to not take chances) just toss it... If it implodes in your tank... That's bad it's easier to buy another one.
