YES it is higher priced than your average salt but again you get what you pay for (the RB review gives a good insight into this)
Yes this salt is designed to run with the balling system as it mirrors what the system puts in so you should not get spikes in your ranges.
It does not replace the balling system as said before when doing a water change you only replace that percentage of depleted elements.
