My truck is a 2008 and it would not start and said service anti theft system. I disconnected the batter then touched the positive and negative wires together to totally drain and reset the computer. This may help

Well Brad if your watching. I got the balls and tried the resistor fix...
I'll be jiggered. Worked like a hot damn. Checked for codes after and clean and clear, security is unlocked and it took about 1/2 hour and $3~ Problem solved
