Don't laugh but this is an old trick of desperation, most cameras will fit the screw where the lampshade goes onto a lamp. I have made some wacky looking tripods over the years;-)

Yea, tripods dont have to be anything fancy.

Just did a quick google search and found one for 20$. Im pretty sure there will be the same generic "cheapy tripod" for sale near your area as well as these are usually gifts for purchasing cameras. Just make sure you weigh it down with something heavy at the bottom to make sure it doesnt tip over.
