Been wondering this myself, I'm eventually going to put my dimmable t5 ballasts on the Apex.

The answer might be buried in the Apex documentation, it's surprisingly thorough: http://www.neptunesystems.com/support/docs/

Let me know if you find out, or meanwhile I'll post back if I happen find the answer first..
