![]() Reversing your lighting schedule and running large fans across the water surface will do much more than floating ice packs. Surprising how well the fans work.

![]() Got home yesterday and tank was a nice 84 degrees, in a 10g nano it's a pain in the a$$ to keep the temp Down, but I put a huge fan right beside it and so far so good. My green bay packers zoas took a hit though they are closed and look like they are melting away

Same here. When I had a heat problem before LEDs I would turn the ATO off and take an icecream pail of actual tank water out and freeze it. Than put the big ice cube in the sump. Rotated 2 buckets like this and it worked good for me. |

![]() I've had good luck with pointing a small fan at the top of the tank to move the heat away from the Halides, and evaporate water =)

![]() I agree with the fan. I blow a fan across the water surface and my temp. drops 2-3 degrees, lots of evap. though.
