http://www.ponoko.com/ is great for laser cut acrylic if you are handy with Sketchup or Inkscape. Amazing accuracy. I never has much luck with cutting/shaping on a router.

very cool , but then i have no excuse to go out and buy a table saw and router .And to be honest im kinda crap with computers ,but i grew up in a cabinet shop so cutting and routing are a breeze for me.

Have you checked out johnson industrial plastics ? off 50st and close to kings college.

havent yet there not open on weekends but a few people have said thats the place to go, and its 5 min from my house.

kinda have to play hookie or take a longer lunch hour.... they have a scrap bin out back that you can scam some scraps from , if you ask nice...
Finished making a biopellet reactor from what tey had in the bin. |

Cool this sounds like the place im looking for , i make my own hours at work so its no problem for me to get there .
