Is it ok to make 2 gallons of saltwater out of ro water and instant ocean salt and let them mix for a couple of hours with a heater and powerhead? Some a$$ dumped my extra water out and I need to do an emergency water change... Normally I let sit for a couple days. Anyone?

I do 10g weekly on my 90g as soon as its mixed... I dont even heat it up, just throw it in a pail and hand mix then blast with a maxjet 1200 for 10 min and done.
