thats what the champs at chinook pumps told me. Look at it this way, I have 2 filters, each has 3 cartridges, 100um, 50, 20, 10. I need to pump either from my sump, through them, and back to the tank, or back to the sump.

its hard to explain, its a series of pressure canisters put simply. My boss wants me to try beefier filtration so we know if its good to use in our showroom.

Sounds like house hold water filter. There's a reason why it's not on any shelves retaining to this purpose. I think you need to research some realistic options, that filter will serve no purpose.

Totally different. And being that this a 1000 dollar unit theres no goin back. all it needs is a pump

If it's just a micron filter then just use a filter sock, they come in different sizes, even 10 micron if you insist on using something so fine.
