Based upon the look of the spread, I think you made the right decision....plus you now have $400 extra to spend on other stuff!

The Sol looks more diffused and spread out more evenly and the Radion hot spotting.

The spread on a radion cannot be compared to a SOL.
SOL have 70 degree optics and the Radions have no optics (120 degrees) simple math states the LED's on a radion have a 50 degree advantage over the SOL. Glad to see you found one you prefer. How did you like the Radion Software over the SOL controller? I have heard the SOL controller kinda sucks.
