whoa you did a fantastic job with the new scape (I had previously missed your video)!

I was wondering about your new 'background' but you shot at night =)

Beautiful. How much time per week do you spend on the tank?

Thanks! Yeah, I shot them at night, and good ole Dollorama in the background getting free advertising LOL!!!!!

The scape was hard, really really hard, and at first I was really disappointed because it looked nothing like it used to...but I am slowly getting used to it, and finding things I like better with it! And...I "may" have room for more corals! I need some fun SPS or Zoanthids that are different than the norm...but they're few and far between.

ZoaElite...this was my complete dream tank, I had a 5 foot previously!.....Christy helped me to find it originally and I've been thrilled since. At times, I wonder what I was thinking getting one this long...but I do love it, and so do the tangs....unless they're hungry or we're standing on the left side. Then they make use of all of 2 feet of the tank, swimming back and forth in front of us, begging! I would change a couple things if I were to do it again.....mostly make it 10 x 3 x 3 but otherwise I am pretty happy, and pretty proud. Our SPS grows soooo fast!

We really only spend about 5-7 minutes a day on it...if we're doing the skimmer maybe 10.....and on water change day, we drain out the door into our parking lot and refill with a LARGE pond pump so it takes us about 8-12 minutes MAX; water out, water in. We do about 100 gallons per change as we have around 450 gallons total with the sump. We've got it all pretty simple in case we go away, the staff can take care of it easily. We have a large Mag-float on a painting extension handle to do the back of the tank as it's very close to the windows, one of our staff fits back there but she doesn't love going back there if she doesn't have to LOL!!!! I think we spend the most time feeding..it's FUN!!!!

I know that drives me nuts. If I'm in the basement (visible to the fish) they might as well be in the old tank. All crammed into the feeding end of the tank lol.

wow Sarah.....pics are cool and everything, but there is nuthin like full motion video......the tank looks amazing with the new scape......shooting the vid at night really made the tank stand out.....no cars or trucks in the background distracting me from the reef porn.....man that one bird sounded POed.....and there was one part where a yellow tang and a foxface tag-teamed and attacked Nemo
