![]() Thanks for the suggestions.
re the audits, $300 for the initial and $150 for the post and Province will give $200 back. For the HRV it's a $375 rebate. Basically it's spend $250 to get back $375 and a bonus on what ever else they might have picked up on. With me and a fairly new house (blt 2005) all that was suggested was if I'm ever painting might consider removing the trim around a couple of windows and hit any gap with spray foam.

![]() If I remember right, they charge for the audit also though
Make sure to check on the Equipment Supplier for rebates also. Free money. I know Carrier gave me back $100 when I added a few other items. |

![]() I installed an HRV at my rental house basement suite earlier this year. I really didn't have a clue about anything. Premier Industrial Ltd (14803-114Ave) was recommended to me so I went there with my blueprints of my basement and the engineer there sat there for about an hour drawing out the plans for the intake and outputs of the HRV. I didn't even say that I was buying one from them, but they still took the time to help me out. I was VERY impressed. I ended up buying my unit and all the piping from them because of service alone. The unit and all of the insulated piping and vents cost me under a thousand dollars. (I didn't tie it into my furnace because of the separate basement suite, I had to have separate ventilation system) Hope this helps.
