What you should really do is (have a plumber) tap into your water line before the main PRV. This way you get the higher city pressure, and thus better efficiency. Then he can just ensure that there is a 1/4" coupler so you can plug your RO/DI line right in without the need of a hose bib attachment.
This is how mine is done. Note: on the other hand, I think I've seen those parts in the picture at Home Depot before... |
