I have a better idea Dave, why don't you just build a tank 72"high, 280" long 36" wide, then fill up your basement. You know, kind of a reverse tank thing. I think this would be easier!

Had to drop by and say that this tank looks unreal, WOW, if its like anything he has built before, its going to be deadly !

What I'm most excited to see is that step-down because it steps down on two sides. Never seen that. It would look amazing if you did a live rock bg attached to both sides and had the bg stick up a bit to form a lip to keep the sand upstairs.

Agreed. That's how I'm doing mine. A 4" lip to keep sand from blowing over the edge.

Everything else looks amazing.
